		rbmcgee氏 : 01-23-2009 04:18 PM I had an ST31500341AS with SD17 which was basically working fine. I flashed the drive with the above titled firmware. Everything seemed to go well and as expected. I then checked to see if the data was still there. It was not. Then I noticed that windows XP was reporting the drive as 500GB (not the 1.5TB it did before the flash). I then checked the BIOS. BIOS reports the drive correctly as ST315000341AS however it also reports the size as 500GB. ST31500341AS only 500GB? Firmware Upgrade後、500GBしか認識しないという状況も出ているようです。（Seagate Moderaterからのメッセージ） If you have immediate needs, your best bet is to contact Customer Service directly whether by phone, email, or chat. Thanks. 追加: MeThinks there is a problem with the new firmware (Brinks-4D8H-SD1B.ISO) on 1.5TB drives 同機種で問題無いという人もいますので、単体不良的な問題かも？ ※LBAがおかしくなった後、SeaTools for DOS でリセットできたようです（データが無事かどうかは不明ですが、騒いでないところを見るとデータ損壊は無いのでは？）

	9FZ136-568	Stereodude氏 Well, for what it's worth, one of my ST1000333AS's is now "bricked" (not a -300 or -336 drive, but a 9FZ136-568). It shows up as only .033GB with 65133 LBA's (should be 1000.204GB with 1953523054 LBAs) この方、P/N -568でFirmware Updateできない！！と騒いでいたのですが、その途中でFirmware Updaterを強制中断させてしまったような記述も見受けられますが・・・。追加: I was able to reset them to Max LBA with Seatools for DOS, and they're back. LBAがおかしくなった後、SeaTools for DOS でリセットできたようです（データが無事かどうかは不明）

このメッセージが出る P/N （なのか、製造工場なのかは不明ですが）は、
「ファームウェアをアップデートする必要がない」のか、
「このファームウェアアップデータでは対応していない」のか
はっきりして欲しいものですがねぇ・・
