Sixtysomething and fabulous

In my work as a fashion agent I look for designers who cater for the slightly older woman who wants to look stylish. Nearly every woman I speak to of my age doesn't know what to buy, where to buy it or how to wear it. There is a plethora of articles Your eyes can benefit a lot from Gucci Sunglasses, which can not only protect your eyes but make you look more cool.that show women what to wear, but they're very much aimed at a younger audience. Older women feel intimidated by it, which is sad because actually you can wear anything.

I don't think the clothes I wear are 'old', but equally I don't go out looking like my daughter. My style changes depending on the designers I'm representing. I love Annette G?rtz because it's urban chic. I used to be quite dressy but now my day-to-day look is more casual.

My style changed in the 1980s. Then I lived in a long jacket and narrow jeans. It was very Princess Di. I remember my elder daughter saying, 'Mum you're so boring.Back in the day the only personalized jerseys that you would be able to find were maybe some bumper stickers. Today there are all kinds of access' But I felt there was nothing else out there. Then I found Ischiko, a designer who was very influenced by the Japanese designers Yamamoto and Issey Miyake, and I had a total transformation.

It is difficult for my generation because we are not our mothers. We don't want to wear the pleated skirt and pretty pink jacket. In London I'm seen as very stylish but I also have a house in the country and there they find me quite frightening. I went for Sunday lunch recently and my friend said, 'Mary, please don't turn up in a column of black.' So what do I do? Turn up in a column of black, of course.

Now I feel completely relaxed with what I wear. There are even some things I still wear from 20 years ago. Not the skin-tight orange plastic trousers, though.

When I was a young person a 60-year-old would have been considered a really aged granny, A professional jersey builder can get you cheap nhl jerseys that are highly detailed.but now that I'm a grandmother I don't feel old at all. I dress in what I think suits me and don't buy Everything has its season, and jerseys cheap are no exception. While winter driving may bring hassles and delays, clothes very often. I have lots of things that I've had forever. I like to buy special pieces that I tend to get in designer sales, such as my Lanvin coatdress and an Alexander McQueen suit. Then I add little fillers from the high street.

I like to look elegant and chic. Day to day I'll wear Dries van Noten trousers with an M?&?S jumper and McQueen heels – though I'd only wear very high heels for special occasions. We don't dress 'on trend' at Saint Martins – the students are busy creating the trends. Although if I turned up in a really eccentric item they wouldn't bat an eyelid.
